Tommy Ramone, also known as Thomas Erdelyi (born Erdélyi Tamás; January 29, 1949 - July 11, 2014),[1] was a Hungarian-American record producer and musician.[2][3] He was born to Jewish parents in Budapest[4] and grew up in Queens, New York City. He was the drummer for an early and important punk rock band, the Ramones.
