Richard D. Zanuck

Richard Darryl Zanuck (December 13, 1934 – July 13, 2012) was an American movie producer. He won an Academy Award for Best Picture in 1989 for his work in Driving Miss Daisy. He has also won the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award, and a Hollywood Film Award. Zanuck and David Brown were one of the most successful movie producers in Hollywood in the 1960s and in the 1970s.
