Boris Pistorius

Boris Pistorius (German pronunciation: [ˈbɔʁɪs pɪsˈtoːʁiʊs];[2] born 14 March 1960) is a German lawyer and politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). He has been the Federal Minister of Defence in the cabinet of Chancellor Olaf Scholz since 19 January 2023.

He was in the State Parliament of Lower Saxony from 2017, until his appointment as Federal Minister in 2023.[3]
