Alexandra Feodorovna (Russian: Александра Фёдоровна; born Princess Alix of Hesse and by Rhine, 6 June 1872 – 17 July 1918) was the last Empress of Russia from 1894 to March 1917 as the wife of Emperor Nicholas II. After she and her family were all murdered in the Russian Revolution, she was canonized as a passion bearer by the Russian Orthodox Church.
