Universitetet i Tokyo (東京大学, Tōkyō daigaku) er et universitet i Tokyo i Japan. Det ble grunnlagt i 1877 som Det keiserlige universitet (som senere ble omdøpt til Tokyo keiserlige universitet). Universitetet har 10 fakulteter, omkring 2500 vitenskapelig ansatte og totalt omkring 28 000 studenter fordelt på fem campuser.[9][10] Universitetet i Tokyo regnes per 2017 som Japans ledende universitet.[11][12]
