Örebro (/ˌɜːrəˈbruː/ UR-ə-BROO,[4][5][6] Swedish: [œrɛˈbruː] ⓘ) is the sixth-largest city in Sweden, the seat of Örebro Municipality, and capital of Örebro County. It is situated by the Närke Plain, near the lake Hjälmaren, a few kilometers inland along the small river Svartån, and has a population of approximately 126,000 in the city proper.[7] It is one of the largest inland hubs of the country, and a major logistic and commercial operating site.
