Zakaria Sulaiman

In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Sulaiman is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Zakaria. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
Zakaria bin Sulaiman (22 June 1937 – 1 November 2011) is a nobleman and politician in the Government of Brunei. He took office as the Minister of Communications from 1988 to 2005,[1] and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1986 to 1989.[2]
