Vyachko[1][2] (Russian: Вячко; died 1224; also Vyacheslav),[3] also known as Vetseke,[4] was the prince of Koknese (Kuikenos),[5] a small vassal state of the Principality of Polotsk. Later, while in the service of the Novgorod Republic,[3] he commanded a unit of 200 Russian mercenaries[6] who were killed by a German crusader army after the 1224 siege and fall of Tartu (Yuryev) during the Christian conquest of Estonia.[7]
