Vera Ignatyevna Mukhina (Russian: Ве́ра Игна́тьевна Му́хина; French: Vera Moukhina; 1 July [O.S. 19 June] 1889 – 6 October 1953) was a prominent Soviet sculptor and painter. She was nicknamed "the queen of Soviet sculpture".[1]
