There is just too much civic pride among new and inexperienced editors for a high quality to be achieved for a substantial amount of time. There's always people who feel their church or school or tree or whatever needs metioning. As a result, I will not revert such edits in said articles unless the information is flat out wrong, is trying to advertise or sell something, is adding unneeded bias about local individuals, or is too far from a neutral point of view. This does not apply to article notability. Political Balance Policy: Many articles and features on Wikipedia sneak in weasel words, phrases, and other things that promote a certain political agenda; most of the time, it is unfortunately an environmentalist or liberal bias. I will attempt to bring neutrality to Wikipedia by removing excess political suggestive statements and provide sourced counterpoints (in whatever form necessary) to counteract partisan propoganda. Non-Notable Geographic Feature Merge Policy: If a landmark or geographic feature of some sort is not notable enough per WP:Notability (or some other Wikipedia guideline/policy) or does not have enough information (and won't have enough information with near-future edits) to have its own article, then my first suggestion would be to merge the information into the most logical parent feature article. This assumes that the feature passes WP:Verifiability. (Example: I would advocate the merger of the "Davie County Courthouse" article into the Mocksville, North Carolina article.) Respecting Formatting Policy: Just because someone has a slightly different way of formating an article (especially if its in a series of articles) does not mean that I have to revamp it to make it fit with how I think it should look. Only if the formatting is really bad or doesn't conform with basic principles set by a WikiProject or such, will I actually change the formatting. I made this personal policy to help myself resist the temptation of perfectionism. EssaysCompetitions
