Tuvan (/ˈtuːvən/) or Tyvan[lower-alpha 1] is a Turkic language spoken in the Republic of Tuva in South Central Siberia, Russia. The language has borrowed a great number of roots from the Mongolian language, Tibetan and the Russian languages.
