Tikhoretsky District

Tikhoretsky District (Russian: Тихоре́цкий райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Tikhoretsky Municipal District.[5] It is located in the northeastern central part of the krai. The area of the district is 1,825.4 square kilometers (704.8 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Tikhoretsk (which is not administratively a part of the district).[1] Population: 59,106 (2010 Russian census);[3] 61,232 (2002 Census);[7] 58,739 (1989 Soviet census).[8]
