The Grinding Wheel is the 18th studio album by American thrash metal band Overkill, released on February 10, 2017.[2][1] It is the last Overkill album with drummer Ron Lipnicki, who left the band shortly after its release and was replaced by Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall and formerly of Flotsam and Jetsam) for the album's tour and its follow-up The Wings of War (2019).[5]
