Senjan (Persian: سنجان)[lower-alpha 1] was a city in the Central District of Arak County, Markazi province, Iran. It served as the administrative center for Sedeh Rural District[4] until its capital was transferred to the village of Zamen Jan.[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 10,592 in 2,897 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 12,249 people in 3,730 households.[2]
In November 2013, Senjan and the former city of Karahrud were merged with the city of Arak. At the same time, Zamen Jan became the capital of Sedeh Rural District.[5]
