Salim Mehajer (born 12 June 1986)[1] is an Australian convicted criminal, property developer and former deputy mayor of Auburn City Council.[2] In March 2018, Mehajer was declared bankrupt and in April 2018 was found guilty of electoral fraud, and sentenced to 21 months in prison with a non-parole period of 11 months.[3] In April 2021, he was sentenced to 2 years and 3 months for lying to court.[4]
