Rudny (Kazakh: Рудный, Rudnyi) (Russian: Рудный Rudnyy) is a city on the Tobol River in Kostanay Region of Kazakhstan. It appeared in 1957 in connection with the development of iron ore deposits, the construction Sokolovsko-Sarbai mining, and processing enterprise.
