Rodomontade

Rodomontade (/rɒdəmɒnˈtɑːdˌ-ˈteɪd/) is a mass noun meaning boastful talk or behavior. The term is a reference to Rodomonte, a character in the Italian Renaissance epic poem Orlando innamorato and its sequel Orlando furioso.[1]
