Piano Sonata No. 3 (Chopin)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Frédéric Chopin's Piano Sonata No. 3 in B minor, Op. 58, is the last of the composer's piano sonatas. Completed in 1844[1] and dedicated to Countess Élise de Perthuis, the work is considered to be one of Chopin's most difficult compositions, both technically and musically.[citation needed] The work has a structure similar to Johann Nepomuk Hummel's Piano Sonata No. 5 in F Sharp Minor, Op. 81.[2]
