Philip H. Ellis

Philip Howard Ellis (1841-1914) was an American colonel of the Spanish–American War. He was known for being one of the main commanders of the 13th Infantry Regiment during the Spanish–American War as well as for his court-martial in 1872 before being acquitted of all charges.
