Organellar DNA

Organellar DNA (oDNA) is DNA contained in organelles (such as mitochondria and chloroplasts), outside the nucleus of eukaryotic cells.[1]
- Mitochondria contain mitochondrial DNA
- Plastids (e.g., chloroplasts) contain plastid DNA
