Nationalization in Poland
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
After the end of World War II, the Communist government in Poland instituted large scale nationalizations in Poland starting in 1944.
Various forms of nationalization in Poland had been suggested by socialist parties and politicians during the era of the Second Polish Republic (1918–1939). Following the communist takeover of Poland in the aftermath of World War II, the new communist government issued a number of decrees nationalizing significant parts of Polish property in the years 1944–1956.[1][2]
