Monino (Russian: Мо́нино) is an urban locality (a work settlement) in Shchyolkovsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia, located 23 kilometers (14 mi) east of Moscow. Population: 22,821 (2010 Russian census);[1] 20,017 (2002 Census);[5] 18,582 (1989 Soviet census).[6]
