Martha M. "Marty" Walz (born July 7, 1961) is a former member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives who served from January 2005 to February 2013. Walz, a Democrat, represented the Eighth Suffolk district, which is made up out of Back Bay, Beacon Hill, and the West End in Boston and Cambridgeport, Area 4 and MIT in Cambridge.[1]
