Mario Edgardo Durán Gavidia (born 3 April 1983, San Salvador[citation needed]) is a Salvadoran politician and businessman, has worked in the public administration since 2012, he was Minister of the Interior in the Cabinet of President Nayib Bukele, and since 1 May 2021 he is mayor of San Salvador.[1]
In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Durán and the second or maternal family name is Gavidia.
