Khairul Khalil bin Ja'afari (born 28 February 1975) is the eldest son and second child of Pengiran Syed Haji Ja'afari bin Pengiran Syed Haji Mashor and Hajah Dayang Sarabanun bini Haji Abdi Manaf.[1] The eldest child in the family is a daughter and Pengiran Khairul Khalil also has two younger siblings: a brother and sister.
In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Jaafari is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Khairul Khalil. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
