José Carlos Ramírez (born August 12, 1992) is an American professional boxer. He is a former unified champion at light welterweight, having held the World Boxing Council (WBC) title from 2018 to 2021 and the World Boxing Organization (WBO) title from 2019 to 2021. As an amateur he represented the United States at the 2012 Olympics.[1] As of June 2020, he is ranked as the world's second best active light welterweight by The Ring[2] and BoxRec,[3] and third by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board.[4]
