John Joseph Haldane KCHS FRSE FRSA (born 19 February 1954) is a British philosopher, commentator and broadcaster. He is a former papal adviser to the Vatican.[1] He is credited with coining the term 'analytical Thomism' and is himself a Thomist in the analytic tradition.[2][3][4] Haldane is associated with The Veritas Forum and is the current chair of the Royal Institute of Philosophy.[5]
