Iuliu Hațieganu (April 14, 1885 – September 4, 1959) was a Romanian internist doctor particularly recognized for research done in the field of tuberculosis.[1] He founded in Cluj a valuable school of internal medicine. Today, Cluj University of Medicine and Pharmacy bears his name. He was a member of the Romanian Academy and brother of politician Emil Hațieganu. He was also an architect, and his work was part of the architecture event in the art competition at the 1936 Summer Olympics.[2]
