Irbit (Russian: Ирби́т[9]) is a town in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, located 203 kilometers (126 mi) from Yekaterinburg by train or 250 kilometers (160 mi) by car, on the right bank of the Nitsa. Population: 37,009 (2021 Census);[10] 38,357 (2010 Russian census);[3] 43,318 (2002 Census);[11] 51,708 (1989 Soviet census).[12]
