Hansan: Rising Dragon (Korean: 한산: 용의 출현; RR: Hansan: Yongui Chulhyeon) is a 2022 South Korean historical war action film directed by Kim Han-min.[4] It is the second film of Kim's trilogy about battles led by Yi Sun-sin, which started with the 2014 film The Admiral: Roaring Currents.[5][6] The film depicts the historical Battle of Hansan which took place five years before the Battle of Myeongnyang depicted in The Admiral.[7] It was released on July 27, 2022 in IMAX, 4DX and ScreenX formats.[8][9]

The film became the second highest-grossing Korean film of 2022 with 7,264,934 admissions and $59,676,622 gross.[3] It is available for streaming on Netflix from December 2, 2022.[10]
