Georgios Bartzokas (alternate spellings: Giorgos, George, Mpartzokas) (Greek: Γιώργος Μπαρτζώκας, born June 11, 1965) is a Greek former professional basketball player and current head coach for Olympiacos of the Greek Basket League (GBL) and the EuroLeague. Nicknamed "Chess Master" is considered as one of the greatest basketball head coaches of all time, Bartzokas has won the EuroLeague Coach of the Year award three times (2013, 2022, 2023).[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] He became the first Greek head coach to win the EuroLeague title, after winning the 2012–13 competition with Olympiacos.[8]
