Summary
The royal banner
The banner held by the standerd bearer is the royal banner of King Sigismund which combines the symbols of the Poland, Sweden and the house of Vasa. It is a double-swallow-tailed banner divided into three horizontal stripes of red, white and red. Overall is the king's great coat of arms. It consists of the arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth with the arms of Sweden placed in an inescutcheon, and within it – another inescutcheon with the arms of the house of Vasa.

The coat of arms is surmounted by a royal crown and surrounded by the chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
