Elpis (wife of Boethius)

Elpis (died c.āAD 504), also known as Elphe or Elpide,[1] was a Latin poetess and hymnographer, and the first wife of Severinus Boethius. Two hymns of praise to the apostles Peter and Paul are traditionally attributed to her.
