At the end of the event, Norma Huembes of Carazo crowned Sheynnis Palacios of Diriamba as her successor as Miss Nicaragua 2023. She represented Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2023 and she went on to win the title roughly three months later in San Salvador, El Salvador, on 18 November 2023. This marks the first time that a region other than Managua has won for two consecutive years, and it is the first back-to-back since Cristiana Frixione crowned Xiomara Blandino (both from Managua) on 2007.
The competition was hosted by Miss Nicaragua 2006 Cristiana Frixione and Valeria Sanchez, while Miss Nicaragua 2022 2nd Runner-up Diana Navarro served as a backstage correspondent.[1]
