Dakhadayevsky District

Dakhadayevsky District (Russian: Дахада́евский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[7] district (raion), one of the forty-one in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia. It is located in the southern central part of the republic. The area of the district is 1,450 square kilometers (560 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Urkarakh.[1] As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 36,709, with the population of Urkarakh accounting for 12.0% of that number.[3]
