Crystal Simone Dangerfield (born May 11, 1998) is an American basketball player for the Atlanta Dream of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). After a high school career that made her the nation's top-ranked point guard,[1] she played college basketball for the UConn Huskies.[2] Dangerfield was drafted in the second round of the 2020 WNBA draft by Minnesota, where she was named WNBA Rookie of the Year after leading the team in scoring.[3] At 5'5", for the 2023 season, she is the shortest player in the WNBA.
