In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Díaz and the second or maternal family name is León.
Carlos Enrique Díaz de León was the provisional President of Guatemala from 27 June to 29 June 1954.[1] He was replaced by a military junta led by Elfego Monzón. Carlos Enrique Díaz was previously Chief of the Guatemalan Armed Forces under President Jacobo Árbenz.[2]
