The arrondissement of Verdun is an arrondissement of France in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region. It has 254 communes.[2] Its population is 85,564 (2016), and its area is 2,828.6 km2 (1,092.1 sq mi).[3] The six communes in the Arrondissement was never inhabited.
