Aristides Royo

Arístides Royo Sánchez (born 14 August 1940) is a Panamanian politician who was President of Panama from 11 October 1978[1] to 31 July 1982, when he was pressured to resign by the military. He is currently the Minister of Canal Affairs.
In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Royo and the second or maternal family name is Sánchez.
