Ardamata massacre
2023 mass murder in Sudan / From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
On 8 November 2023, the Rapid Support Forces and Janjaweed[3] massacred between 800[4][5] and 1,300[6] in Ardamata, West Darfur, Sudan, although estimates vary.[7][8] The attack came after the Sudanese Armed Forces's 15th Infantry Division camp retreated to Chad.[9] About 20,000 fled to Chad following the violence.[6] Reports indicated ethnic targeting, specifically the Masalit community.[10][11]
