Vladimir Kirpichnikov (general)

Vladimir Vasilevich Kirpichnikov (Russian: Владимир Васильевич Кирпичников; 7 July 1903 – 10 October 1950) was a Soviet general of the Red Army. During World War II he served as commander of 43rd Rifle Division. Kirpichnikov was the only Soviet general captured by the Finnish Army. In 1950, he was convicted of treason and shot.
