Operation Chaffinch was a World War II mission conducted by the British Special Operations Executive (SOE), in cooperation with the Company Linge, which aimed to to make contact with local resistance groups in the Oslo area and sabotage shipping. They succeeded in sinking the merchant vessel Sanev on 19 May 1943.
