Cherrywood is a neighborhood located in east-central Austin, Texas. The neighborhood is bordered by Manor Road on the south, Interstate 35 on the west, Wilshire Boulevard on the north, and Airport Boulevard on the east. The neighborhood is bisected by the eponymous Cherrywood Road and East 38 1/2 Street, and encompasses or abuts the sub-neighborhoods of French Place, Schieffer- Willowbrook, Delwood, and Duplex Nation, among others. The neighborhood contains the headwaters of Upper Boggy Creek.

Cherrywood includes the commercial districts along Manor Road and East 38 1/2 Street, along with businesses located along the Interstate 35 frontage road. The neighborhood is also home to Maplewood Elementary school. The neighborhood is serviced by three CapMetro bus routes, No. 322 (Chicon/Cherrywood), No. 335 (35th/38th Street) and No. 20 (Manor/Riverside), the latter of which is planned to be developed into the Expo Center MetroRapid line as part of the agency's ProjectConnect plan. The closest MetroRail station is MLK Station, located approximately 1/2 mile south of the neighborhood.
