50 of 67 units as single-system(serie 403) travel in Germany and also to railway station Basel SBB. 17 units( including 4 for Dutch Railway NS) are multi-system and travel as serie 406(also ICE 3M) to Amsterdam and Brussels. 6 of these trains were retrofitted in 2007 as serie 406F(also ICE 3MF) for the transnational travel to France .
