Hi I am a junior of the Wikipedia from Australia Sydney. Also I am an international student, but temporary not studying on campus. Therefore when I doing research and assignment, Wikipedia always is the fastest place to provide me the basic concept and idea for that. So this is the reason why I would like to take this unit in order to understand the truth of it. There is a question that I always want to ask," How many knowledge Wikipedia has" and " Who made Wikipedia have these amount of the knowledge?" After the previous lesson, I found that it is all because of the volunteer around the world. Everyone who read the information form Wikipedia should pay respect to all of the volunteer. It is because they try to proof the knowledge accurate without any salary.
Tip of the day...
Citation footnotes
Use the <ref> tag to add references to your articles presented as footnotes. This tag is easy and convenient because it allows you to cite your sources within your text and have them automatically numbered and added to your References section at the end of the article. To cite a source, simply type the <ref> tag after the statement the reference is for. For example: Haliburton park is the largest park in the world.<ref>Bill Harton (2005). http://www.linkhere.com. Retrieved March 3, 2005.</ref> Then, at the end of your article, add the following template to include all of the citations in your article: {{Reflist}} directly under the References or Notes section title. I love Japanese music culture as well as the animation. It is so cool and make more fun to my life. So I always search the detail of the animation from the Wikipedia. It always make me surprise and thankful because the information is group up and related. If I have this chance I hope I can be the one to protect and improve the knowledge in this area.
This a free treasure house for "things". I hope I can learn much in this unit.
