Collider.com is a film website and Youtube Channel founded by Steve Weintraub in July 2005.[1] It was purchased in January 2015 by Complex Media.[2] In 2012, Weintraub was nominated for a Press Award by the International Cinematographers Guild for his work at Collider.[3] Collider delivers relevant news and occurrences in the entertainment industry both public and behind the scenes. Each individual podcast provides an in-depth analysis and commentary on popular news stories related to the Entertainment Industry. As of October 2016 Collider has 300,000 subscribers and over 220,500,000 cumulative views. Extensions of the channel include, Movie Talk, Nightmares, Heros, Movie Trivia Schmoedown, Collider News, TV Talk, and Jedi Council. [4]

Collider.com was originally founded in 2005, and since has been dedicated to delivering content that is analytical and informative. The style of a collider news broadcast is systematic while each story is addressed with each panel members interpretation. Each episode makes an atempt at being humorous while informing the audience. The panel is hosted by a wide assortment of mediators including Jon Schnepp, John Campea, Kristian Harloff, Jeremy Jhans, Alica Malone, Ahsley Mova, Shinade Defrise, Natasha Marteneze, and Denis Zenhg.
