Þuríðr Þorkilsdóttir (Faroese Turið Torkilsdóttir, Icelandic Þuríður, Norwegian Turid) sometimes anglicized as Thurid (ca. 960-ca. 1047) was a powerful, influential woman in the Faroe Islands during the Viking Age. [1]
