Trần Quốc Hoàn

Trần Quốc Hoàn (23 January 1916 – 5 September 1986) was the first and longest-serving Minister of Public Security of North Vietnam. He served in that role from 1952 through unification to 1981. He laid the foundation for structure of Vietnam's security services.[1] He was a member of the Politburo from 1972 until 1980.
