While quite rightly flagged for copyright investigation, investigation suggests the content developed on Wikipedia first. To begin with, the website's copyright date is 1998-2014, and the first archived version of the external site is from 2011. This does not in itself demonstrate development on Wikipedia, but there are also signs of natural evolution. We see a significant entry of related content in May 2007. While some passages in the external site are in that page ("The expresses were limited-stop..."), there are substantial differences. A few minutes later, the same IP added another paragraph with similarities to the external site. Note that within a few minutes the IP altered the text he originally placed () - the external site uses the later text. This addition, too, is reflected in the external site. This change shortly thereafter by a registered editor is reflected in the external site. The next month, an IP removed a word - the word is not in the external site. Another registered editor expands the article in June 2007 (modified several weeks thereafter by someone else) - the external site includes content similar to that passage. The external site reflects copyediting from October 2007 (and ). The article's history is full of modifications reflected at that external site, with the last one I see prior to the oldest archival of the site on 19 September 2011. Evidence suggests that at some point on or after 19 September 2011, the external site was created with content copied and modified from Wikipedia. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 11:33, 28 August 2014 (UTC) |
