Oleg Anatolyevich Peshkov (Russian: Олег Анатольевич Пешков; 3 August 1970 – 24 November 2015) was a combat pilot in the Russian air force who was shot down by a Turkish fighter near the Syria-Turkey border on 24 November 2015. Although he initially survived bailing out of the plane with his parachute, he was killed while descending by militants on the ground.
